Get your home ready for fall with these simple decor tips!


As the days get shorter and the temperatures start to dip, it’s time to start thinking about fall—and that includes getting your home ready for the change of season. Don’t you, worry, I'm here to help! Here are a few simple tips to get your home feeling cozy and inviting just in time for fall:


Bring the outdoors in with fall foliage.

One simple way to decorate for fall is to bring the outdoors in—literally. Incorporate fresh fall foliage into your décor by clustering leaves together and placing them in a vase. For an extra touch, add some acorns, pinecones, or berries to the arrangement. You can also use fake leaves if you want your arrangement to last longer.


Create a cozy ambiance with candles and warm lighting.

One of the easiest ways to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home is by adding candles and adjusting your light fixtures. Swap out any cool white light bulbs for warm white ones, and use lamps instead of overhead lights whenever possible. Candles add instant warmth, smell great, and can make any room feel more cozy. Be sure to place them in strategic spots like next to the sofa or in front of the fireplace. Look for non-toxic candles made with high-quality soy wax and essential oils for a healthy home scent.


Incorporate fall colors into your decor.

Place some small pumpkins or gourds on your coffee table or mantel. Fill a vase or bowl with pumpkins and gourds of different sizes, shapes, and colors.
